The WNA are holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on the 11 January 2016 to ask its members for their agreement to make some alterations to the WNA constitution. The meeting will also be asking members to discuss proposals for potential hosting of a WNA project within a member organisation. The next meeting of the WNA Cross Party Group hosted by Mark Isherwood, AM is to be held in Ty Hwyel, Cardiff Bay on the 22 September 2015 with video conferencing in North Wales (venue tbc). The topic at this meeting is "The importance of Neuropsychology and Neuropsychiatry services for those with functional and other Neurological Disorders" where David Linden, Professor Translational Neuroscience, Cardiff University and Dr. Tanya Edmonds, Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, Morrison Hospital we will be discussing the importance and need for effective Neuropsychiatry and Neuropsychology services in Wales. Coproduction was the theme at this years WNA AGM workshops held in Cardiff Bay on the 6 May 2015. Presentation attached

After a successful AGM which saw the election of Jean Francis, Ataxia Cymru and Dafydd Williams, Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group to the executive committee participants took part in a workshop looking how as organisations and individuals we can make coproduction happen in Wales to improve service delivery to those people with neurological conditions.

Feedback was very positive with participants energised to return to their organisations to share their learning. Of course it was noted that not only should the third sector aim to work using coproduction values but those providing public services should also be looking at this new way of working.
